Autumn by Lake Mulwala

Autumn is a magnificent time of the year. I love Spring and Summer, definitely dislike Winter. But Autumn has it all. Glorious sunny days which are generally callm, not too hot or too cold.

With daylight savings still with us in March, there is no need to be out too early to see a stunning sunrise. I took this photo on my morning walk this week.

I watched in awe as the sun crept over the horizon, at first just a tiny sliver of bright yellow in the eastern sky the old willow provided a stunning frame. The sun rose quickly to a fiery round sphere, painting the entire horizon with a bright orange glow. The huge majestic gum shining orange where the sun reached but otherwise dark and ghostly.
